Mark Worthing

Mark graduated from Cardiff Dental Hospital in 1994. He spent six months working in the University Dental Hospital in Cardiff and then eighteen months in busy oral and maxillofacial units in Merthyr Tydfil and Bridgend, South Wales, before working in general practice in Cardiff for a year.
In 1997, he gained his Fellowship to the Royal College of Surgeons of England (oral surgery), the same year that he joined his father in practice in Hereford. He completed eighteen months of training in advanced surgical and prosthetic implantology at Sheffield University in 2001. In addition to this, he completed a three-year training program in occlusion and advanced restorative dentistry in the south of England.
Mark has a keen interest in oral surgery and restorative dentistry and has completed a number of implant courses in France, Ireland, Belgium, Holland, Sweden, Brazil, Croatia, Italy, and South Africa as well as the UK.
Mark has been placing implants since 1998 and has been taking referrals for approximately 25 years.
He accepts referrals for:
- All aspects of dental implant therapy
- Bone grafting including corticocancellous block grafting and sinus augmentation
- Difficult restorative cases
- Management of bruxism

Rob Masters

Born in 1977, Rob was educated in Stourbridge and qualified from the University of Wales College of Medicine as a Dental Surgeon in August 2000.
After qualifying, he returned to his home town of Stourbridge where he completed his vocational training year. Rob then worked in general practice in the south west of England and in private practice in the Midlands. In September 2004 he gained valuable surgical and medical experience in the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery in the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff an then as a clinical lecturer at Birmingham Dental hospital. He joined Tupsley Dental practice in 2008 and became one of the owners in 2010.
Rob has obtained his MFGDP from the Royal College of Surgeons and his DPDS from Bristol University. He spent 3 years studying occlusion (the way the teeth, the jaw joint and facial muscles interact) and advanced restorative dentistry in Leeds, London and Poole.
He has a special interest in Endodontics (Root Fillings) and has completed a Masters degree in this area. Rob takes referals from local practices for endodontics and works part time as a lecturer on the 'simplyendo' programme in Liverpool www.simplyendo.com

Roxana Stoenescu
Roxana qualified from Carol Davila University, Bucharest 2010 and after graduating she went on to do post graduate training in Oral Surgery for a further three years. Moving to Hereford in 2014 with her husband, she now has 2 little girls.
Roxana provides and enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and has a particular interest in Implantology and Oral Surgery.
She prides herself on being extremely conscientious and works hard at putting nervous patients at ease and providing excellent patient care in a relaxed and friendly environment. Outside of work she likes to keep fit and healthy and particularly enjoys aerobic classes and to spend quality time with her family.

Gareth Jones
Gareth graduated from Liverpool University’s School of Dentistry in 2003, where he was awarded the HR Williams prize for oral surgery.
He takes pride in providing high quality dentistry in a relaxed, gentle and unhurried manner and enjoys meeting people and getting to know them as their treatment progresses. It gives Gareth a real sense of satisfaction when he shows people the results of their treatment and sees their expressions. Gareth enjoys learning about different techniques and treatments that can benefit his patients.
Gareth’s hobbies include playing cricket for Penallt and Redbrook CC, playing rugby for Monmouth, playing the guitar and enjoying time with his wife and little boy.
Gareth was born and raised in North Wales and undertook his Dental training in Manchester graduating in 2000. Since then he has worked in Wales, Surrey and Berkshire before settling to work in Hereford.
Gareth takes pride in providing careful, gentle dentistry to a high standard.
Gareth also has a keen interest in dental technology, adhesive dentistry and Endodontics (Root Canal treatment).
When not looking after patients, he can usually be found playing golf or socialising with friends.

Dr Raja Randhawa completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Plymouth, Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry in 2019.
Thoroughly enjoying all of aspects of dentistry, Dr Raja is a keen and reputable dentist who endeavours to put his patient’s care at the forefront of his work. He takes pride in being able to help patients develop confidence in their teeth and smile often, using minimally invasive techniques such as clear aligners and composite bonding.
Outside of work, Raja enjoys travelling and watching football.

Mei
Mei graduated with honours from King’s College London in 2019. She began her
career as a general dentist in Portsmouth before expanding her clinical experience
through roles in hospital dentistry. Over the next two years, she worked at the
University Dental Hospital of Manchester, Aintree University Hospital, and Alder Hey
Children’s Hospital, gaining extensive exposure to a wide range of complex
paediatric and maxillofacial cases. During her hospital placements, Mei contributed
to several audits, posters, and publications, demonstrating her commitment to
clinical excellence and evidence-based practice. She was awarded her MFDS
postgraduate qualification in 2021.
Since returning to general dentistry, Mei has continued to provide high-quality,
patient-centred care. She has a particular interest in orthodontics and aesthetic
dentistry, and is dedicated to continually advancing her skills in smile alignment and
cosmetic dental treatment. In 2025, Mei further broadened her experience by
working in community dentistry, where she provided urgent dental care services to
patients.
Outside of dentistry, Mei is passionate about travelling. She finds exploring new
places to be one of the best ways to unwind, gain fresh perspectives, and
experience the world’s diversity.

Stella Galer

Stella qualified in Cardiff as a dental hygienist in 2000 and Tupsley Dental Practice was one of the first Practices that she joined and has continued working here ever since.
She thoroughly enjoys attending various dental conferences each year to increase her knowledge, biennial implant conferences with other team members, as well as Europerio conferences which are held every 3 years. She has also attended courses that have been offered for extended duties to increase and update her skills. In 2018, Stella commenced a Masters degree at University College London and completed this in 2021, achieving a distinction in MSc Dental Hygiene. In 2024, Stella was nominated for Oral Healthcare Professional of the Year with the Hereford Times and won this award in October.
Stella is particularly adept at helping anxious patients alleviate their dental fears and in treating patients with areas of severe gum disease. For any dental implant patients, Stella likes to be involved in initial appointments prior to surgery in addition to continuing supportive aftercare and monitoring following placement of the implant fixtures. She likes to provide a truly empathetic, caring and holistic approach to treatment of all of her patients.
Stella has given talks at a few meetings and conferences for hygienists and therapists, including an international conference held in Dublin in 2022. Stella also gives oral hygiene talks to local nursery settings and primary schools, which may include toothbrushing instruction. She has a busy social life and enjoys many sports but in particular running and has entered a number of 10km & Half Marathon events, including charity events with team members. She also enjoys gym classes, attending Music concerts, and going out with friends. However, most of her spare time is occupied with her 2 teenage children and their social lives!

Sarah Childs
Sarah's dental career began in 2006 when she became a dental nurse. She went on to qualify as an Oral Health Educator in 2009 achieving 'distinction'. Inspired to further her education and knowledge in dentistry, she applied to Cardiff Dental School to study dental hygiene/therapy. She completed her diploma in December 2011. Sarah was honoured at the end of her course to be awarded prizes for Clinical Dental Therapy, Professionalism and the undergraduate prize from the British Society of Restorative Dentistry.
Sarah joined Tupsley Dental Practice in November 2013 as a dental therapist. She has a particular passion for oral health education; it is her mission to educate and empower patients to take control of their oral health and prevent oral disease. She has had the opportunity to do some dental related charity work in Africa, including both clinical work and oral health education. This has provided a tremendous sense of satisfaction, and she hopes to take part in further trips in the future.
Outside of work Sarah enjoys baking, ballroom dancing, travelling, theatre, good food, music, sport and training horses.

My Career in Dentistry began in 2004 when I worked as a dental nurse in NHS and private practice.
I soon became interested in being more hands-on and really making a difference to people’s oral health. After being accepted onto the dental hygiene and therapy course at Kings College London, I qualified in June 2010 and went on to work in NHS, private and community dental care.
I really enjoy educating patients about their oral health and forming good trusting relationships so they feel more confident and relaxed under my care.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two children, travel abroad, walking my dog, cooking, reading and running.
