WE ARE RE-OPENING JUNE 8th, 2020!!
After enormous pressure from the dental profession and its representative groups, yesterday afternoon the Chief Dental Officer for England announced that dental practices in England will be able to re-open as of the 8th June.
This has literally come out of the blue but is extremely good news, and we are looking forward to a return to what will become our new normal. Priority must be given to helping everyone with urgent dental needs that have arisen over the past 2 months, as well as new dental emergencies. We expect that we will also be able to resume routine dental treatment within a shorter than expected time frame as well. The relief is tangible!
Currently we await final guidance from the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners at The Royal College of Surgeons of England; once we have that we will begin to contact patients to arrange appointments. We are told that this guidance will become available today Friday 29th May and so contact with patients should begin on Monday 1st June.
If you have already spoken with us about a dental problem over the past 2 months then we have a record of you and we will be in touch, so you need do nothing.
If you have had issues that require attention but that you have not advised us of then please EMAIL [email protected] rather than telephone, and we will arrange to see you. Please give some indication of the nature of your dental problem so that we are able to provide enough time to effectively treat you.
Finally, we would like to thank each and every one of you for your incredible patience, and for the innumerable messages of kindness, and gestures of support. We have been staggered by the level and volume of support that we have received.
