Mark Worthing
BDS (Wales) FDS RCS (Eng) GDC No. 69821.
Mark qualified from the University of Wales College of
Medicine as a Dental Surgeon in January 1994. He spent
two years in hospital practice in South Wales and a year
in general practice in Cardiff, prior to returning to Hereford
in February 1997 to join his father.
In addition, Mark has obtained a surgically-based Fellowship
from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and has completed
further training in advanced restorative dentistry and
implant dentistry in London, Dublin, Sheffield, Marseille,
the University of Leuven in Belgium, Gothenburg, Halmstad
and Monaco. This training is in addition to many day courses
run nationally on all aspects of private dentistry.
Mark’s special interest is dental
implants, which he has been placing and restoring since
1998. He is a clinical coach for AstraTech and helps general
dental practitioners understand more about implant treatments,
by giving morning lectures and treatment planning sessions
to post graduate groups. 2007 sees the start of
three day modular courses run by Mark for practitioners
interested in implant work. |

Rob Masters
BDS (Wales) MFGDP (UK) GDC NO. 77523
Born in 1977, Rob was educated in Stourbridge and qualified from the University of Wales College of Medicine as a Dental Surgeon in August 2000.
After qualifying, he returned to his home town of Stourbridge where he completed his vocational training year. Since then Rob has worked in general practice in the south west of England and in private practice in the Midlands, most recently in Birmingham, gaining a broad range of experience. In September 2004 he gained valuable surgical and medical experience in the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery in the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff.
Rob has been a clinical lecturer at Birmingham Dental Hospital since April 2006 and is an honorary lecturer at the University of Birmingham School of Dental Hygiene where he teaches dental, hygiene and therapy students in his area of special interest which is periodontology (study of gum disease). In addition, Rob obtained his MFGDP from the Royal College of Surgeons England and is currently working towards his DPDS at Bristol University.
Rob has a keen sporting interest and is a member of the Old Boys Medical school rugby team, of which he was secretary in 1997-1998. He enjoys water skiing, sailing and alpine skiing. Rob married Kate in 2002, and has a young son, Benjamin.
